Our volunteers play a vital role by providing supportive care services such as caregiver support, companionship, and collaborating with our staff to provide additional support to individuals and families in our community. Our volunteers also provide support in meal preparation, baking, gardening, at our home as well as assist in the operations of our Thrift store. In 2022 our Volunteers dedicated more than 13,380 hours to Kamloops Hospice Association.
The Board is comprised of community volunteers who are committed to supporting the Kamloops Hospice Association in achieving its mission of providing excellence in end-of-life care to our patients and their families. Directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term, up to a maximum of four consecutive terms.
Facing the journey towards end-of-life care can be overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Our dedicated team at Kamloops Hospice is here to provide unwavering support, comfort, and guidance to both patients and their families.
